20 March 2008

20 Mar

Whoa, it’s March already. In fact, it’s almost April. That means it’s almost time for school to start wrapping up (right before a huge mass of research projects and final papers, followed up by finals). I’m on Spring Break right now, and thank God. Unfortunately, it’s been packed with a lot of work and I’m still not done yet. I wish I could have got more finished, but I mean, seriously, it’s break so why shouldn’t I be allowed to take one? So yeah, take that Trinity. I don’t want to write an essay!

Anyway, besides that, I have good news. I’ve found a very special girl, Emily, and we’re pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. Ballin’! Strangely, I can’t wait to get back to school for once. Weird. Oh well, things are moving very fast as it is, so I should be set. Hell, this thing is like a time machine — the next time I post it could be the end of April and I’ve already got through all the horrible things at school and done a lot with my life. Who knows!

We ended up visiting Big Bend State Park. Neato.

So I am taking midterms. For the last week, and this week, and the next week, my social life is forfeit to the struggles of education! Perhaps this will make me a wise individual, but so far I’ve been perfecting the best ways to memorize lines and lines of trivial and pointless information only to immediately forget it all after turning in the test. Yes, college rocks.

My Spring Break is on the 14th though, so I can’t wait. I’ll be going home to Midland, maxing, relaxing, all chill, all cool, and shoot some bball outside the school. Not going to do much else besides some client work and meeting with friends.
