Why have a journal if you don’t have anything to talk about? I suppose once school gets going I can gripe and vent about that. Hey, think of it this way: at least I’m not writing crappy poetry and going on angsty rants. See, it could be worse. Today’s agenda: Don’t do anything. Don’t go to parties. Don’t talk to the parents. Stay here and do nothing alone in front of a computer monitor. It’s probably the least hetic New Years I’ve had since I was back in Kingwood. Some people from my dad’s work are cruising by and drinking a few beers and then heading to some bar called ‘Burn Out’ or something of the sort. Interesting. So, I won’t even have my family to celebrate it with. I’ll just do it on IRC to the people blind drunk there.

Well, make this a very happy new years — I’ll make mine something worth forgetting about.
